+ PREPARING FOR THE EVENT
We will need a space with WIFI access that can accommodate your entire group along with separate tables for each team, and a table for our hosts. The ideal team size is 4-6.
We will also require a monitor or projector and a speaker to which we can connect our laptop. If you don’t have a monitor or projector, we will need a space where we can set up our own projector such that all the participants can see our presentation. If you don’t have a speaker, not to worry – we will bring our own.
Yes, participants should bring their cell phones or laptops. They will need these to access the round questions and submit their answers.
We do not handle event registrations at this time. We found that event registration was best handled by team and event organizers who have full context for the attendees. We’re happy to suggest ways to manage this process if helpful
You are welcome to preselect teams. The ideal team size is 4-6.
If you don’t preselect the teams, participants may self-select or we will randomly assign them to teams when they arrive.
+ ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY DETAILS
Our host will welcome everyone and ask teams to pick team names and captains.
After a brief verbal intro, participants will begin the first of 3 rounds by guessing the price of a unique item.
See the “What to Expect from your ‘Name That Price!’ Experience” section above for a complete picture of how the event works.
During the first part of each round, everyone will work independently to guess the price of a unique item.
Teams will then work together to complete the second part of each round where they’ll guess the prices of a series of items.
During the Showcase round, the top 2 teams will work together to guess the total price of collections of items. Everyone else will just be observing.
During the bidding portion of each round, participants will access a buzzer on their smartphones or laptops. Participants will have the opportunity to respond to the bidding question in the order that they buzzed in.
The second part of each round is hosted on our survey platform that includes the questions, a built in timer, and space to submit answers. Our host will provide a QR code and link after introducing each round. Each team will have a designated team captain who will be responsible for submitting their teams answers
Teams will verbally call out their answers in the Showcase round.
During the first 3 rounds, our platform and hosts will grade your answer submissions in real-time, and announce them after each round.
During the Showcase round, the top 2 teams will each choose a different collection to bid on. The team whose bid most closely matches the actual price of their collection will be the winner!
+ GAME CONTENT
Whether you want a fun group activity inspired by the “Price is Right” game show, or focus more on remote team building, this game has what you’re looking for. Our facilitators are also trained to read the room and work with you to match the tone and experience you’re looking for.
This game is less about what you know and more about working with your teammates to guess what you think are the prices of various unique consumer items. That’s where the fun begins, because different people will have different opinions and this can spark a lot of lively discussions!
It is appropriate for corporate audiences. Our expert event facilitators have hosted many events for many different teams, and the activity itself features no mature content.
The game cannot be customized at this time.
